Project Molding Box

My role at MoldingBox
Molding Box began in the garage of a young entrepreneur. Shortly after they moved into a small warehouse, I joined the team to help promote their services.
As the company expanded into a larger warehouse, I had the opportunity to design both the exterior and interior signage, as well as contribute to the overall interior design. Despite a demanding schedule, the experience was incredibly rewarding.
In my role at this startup, I led the development of their new website and associated sub-sites. I managed all social media platforms, ensuring updates and links were always current. My responsibilities also included overseeing the creation of print materials, billboards, and trade show displays. Additionally, I designed a custom-fabricated outdoor sign and all interior graphics. Molding Box has since earned recognition as an Inc. 500/5000 company.
Team
The team consisted mainly of myself, three owners, and occasional assistance from the IT specialist as required. I had significant creative control over this project, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Strategy
Developing a brand for an industry that may not initially seem thrilling—logistics, shipping, and packaging—was an exciting challenge. Collaborating with the original, spirited owners of Molding Box, we crafted a bold and memorable brand identity. We embraced a shock factor in our advertisements and campaigns, aiming to make Molding Box a name that resonates with consumers daily, ultimately establishing it as a household name.
Design and Launch
Designing emails, magazine advertisements, promotional materials, and website updates was part of my daily routine. As the sole designer, photographer, and web developer, I collaborated with team members to ensure quality assurance for all published collateral and websites.
Design and Launch
This was a regular part of the company’s workflow. Daily tasks included sending emails, launching advertisements, and securing approval for website banners, among other responsibilities. The fast-paced environment of this dynamic young company kept the design and approval processes constantly moving—there was never a dull moment, and the days flew by.
